Live wedding painting
Style
My live painting style is impressionistic and organic, created to spontaneously capture the emotion and atmosphere of your wedding day. As a live event painter I focus on painting not just how the moment looks, but how it feels — the light, the movement, and the connection between you and your loved ones.
Colour
Using warm, neutral and muted tones, I create a simple composition that can be beautifully aligned with your event colour palette: Adding subtle highlights inspired by your floral arrangements, decor, or favourite hues, to make your live wedding painting feel more personal and unique.
Quality
Each artwork is painted live on location using professional acrylics on high-quality linen canvas. After the event, the painting is carefully taken back to my studio and finished with two protective layers of satin varnish to guard against UV light and ensure long-lasting quality. Your painting is created to become a meaningful heirloom — a lasting memory of your special day.
Because a live event painting is created in real time, it carries the energy and authenticity of the celebration.
This is different from a highly detailed studio commission based on a photograph.
If you would like additional refinement and delicate touch-ups after the event, you can choose the Live Painting + After Paint Deluxe option.
A separate oil painting commission from a photo is also available for couples who prefer an even more detailed result.
Packages
Style
Romantic: a special moment captured in painting, just for the wedding couple.
Impressionistic: Loose, organic brushstrokes. This style aims to capture the atmosphere of your event, created in real time on location. The painting looks and feels like a painting, prevailing the materiality and texture of the paint and canvas.
Colour palette: muted neutral tones that can be complemented by your event’s colour theme, and your favourite hues.
Size and price
40 × 50 cm = €450
50 × 60 cm = €500
60 × 80 cm = €650
Extra costs:
Travel to location: €0.70 per kilometer from Geldermalsen.
When the venue is far away (more than 150 km from Geldermalsen) stay over or travelling abroad fees will depend on every case.
Delivery service cost: around €12
Packaging materials: €10
Optional:
Extra Portraits: I focus mainly on the bride and groom, but if you want to include more dear ones on the painting the extra cost is €25 per person (or pet).
After Paint Deluxe: If you wish to add a more realistic style to your live wedding painting, consider this option for a deeper refinement in oil paint + 20 hrs of work. The investment is €190 added to your chosen package.

Time frame
Booking.
Painting on location for 6 hours
+ 10 hours after the Event to detail the painting in my studio, included.
After 6 to 12 weeks the painting is varnished and dry, carefully packaged and ready to go home.
You can choose to pick the painting at my studio or I can deliver it to you through a National Delivery Service, including insurance and track and trace.

Payment to insure the booking:
50% non-refundable retainer in advance + Agreement signed.
and remaining 50% payment at least 30 days before the Event.
BTW 9% is included.
Note: Make sure that the venue has a designated space of at least 2 × 1.5 meters to set up my easel, (not too close from the dance floor or the music speakers).
